Azula is the younger sister of Zuko, and daughter of Fire Lord Ozai and Empress Ursa. She's named after her grandfather, the Fire Lord Azulon. She grew up with the riches and splendor of being royalty in the Fire Nation. She was a Firebending prodigy as a young child, and in her early teenage years, she's still impressing everyone with her skills.

Two years Zuko's junior, she's incredibly advanced as a Firebender, far more than her brother is. She drills herself towards perfection and settles for nothing less from her underlings, including those she considers friends. Her mastery of the lightning and blue flames shows her one track mind mentality, as her uncle Iroh says it requires complete control of all emotion.

Azula is vain, and believes that power and domination make one strong, thus showing her attraction to gaining the throne, and being better than her brother.

She loves to tease her brother, humiliate him in front of others. She calls him "Zuzu", something he often pleads with her to stop doing.

She has black hair, pale skin, golden eyes and wears a crown in the shape of a flame.
